Take good care of the UAV to avoid accidents and damage and to prolong its lifetime.
● Inspect the drone regularly: There are no life-limited parts of the drone; however, propellers and motors must be inspected frequently, and in case of abnormalities, replaced. Do not use damaged, broken, or aged propellers!
● After landing: Disassemble, thoroughly clean (immediately after spraying!), check and store all equipment properly. In the flight log, record the flight and any significant events.*
● Before transportation: Remove or empty the spray tank, payloads, accessories, and battery to avoid damage to the drone’s landing gear.
● Storage: Store the drone with the spray system thoroughly emptied, cleaned, and flushed. The drone remote controller and the batteries should be stored between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F) temperature and below 60% relative humidity. Never store the remote controller or the drone’s batteries below 0°C. The remote controller and the drone’s batteries must be stored at about 60% charge and must be discharged and recharged every 3 months of storage.
● After long-term storage: Inspect every battery and fully charge them before use. Check the drone’s motors for free rotation.
● *Make a flight log: Accurate completion of this document is mandatory to monitor the operation and lifetime of the drone and to facilitate properly scheduled servicing (every 300 flight hours).
● After every 300 flight hours, facilitate official maintenance in an ABZ Innovation service center.
During the official 300-hour maintenance, a qualified technician carries out a general inspection: checks the condition of the propellers, motors, arms, arm clamps, Landing gear, Lidar / Radar, Drone housing and structure, Cables and connectors, Charger and battery connectors, and the Controller.
In the course of the spraying system maintenance, the technician inspects the condition of the CDA disc, Pump, Tank, and the tubes and their connections, and, depending on their condition, cleans or replaces the filters (including the pump filter). In addition to the above, the technician checks the cells of the battery, downloads and saves the log files, and updates the software (if applicable). After a final test flight, you receive your drone, charger, and controller fully cleaned.
